Balsam Halifa recently marked his one-year anniversary as an independent entrepreneur. The ambitious 34-year-old from the Druze village of Maghar in the Galilee owns a franchise of the Israeli coffee chain Aroma Espresso Bar.

The Young Adult Division (YAD) is an eclectic, passionate group of Jewish men and women (single and married, ages 25-45) who are making a real difference in the community through volunteerism, leadership development, networking, events and fundraising.
YAD raises dollar for the Jewish Federation Annual Campaign to support a network of services and programs in our tri-state area, across North America, and in Israel and 70 countries worldwide.
